Immanuel Church, Chichester
Following Jesus, growing in love,
prospering the city of Chichester.
Although we are not a traditional parish church, we enjoy playing our part in the Diocese of Chichester and our heart is for the whole city to flourish.
Our story is a nomadic one having met in a number of different locations across Chichester over the years. Given that we do not have a church building of our own, we are well–placed to explore fresh and creative ways of gathering as the people of God whilst staying rooted in the Anglican Communion.
Immanuel is a relaxed, growing and welcoming community with a huge emphasis upon family. We are passionate about building relationships, serving the people and places God assigns us to, and encouraging one another as we seek the equipping of the Holy Spirit for all that God is leading us into. Immanuel is a Bishop’s Mission Order Initiative within the Church of England.
Sundays
Join us every Sunday morning at 10:30am at Bishop Luffa School (with refreshments served from 10am). Whether you’re visiting for the first time, curious about the Christian faith, returning after some time away, or looking for a community to call home, we’d love to welcome you and get to know you!
Connect
Find a place to belong, with something for everyone! From our midweek Discipleship Hubs, to prayer and worship evenings, curry nights, Healing on the Streets, as well as a range of fun events for children and young people, there are loads of opportunities to get involved and to feel part of the family.
